This is the first year the Haringey Aquatics has been part of the scheme which celebrates the achievements of young people and each award is worth £200 to benefit the club.  The winners chose to spend theirs as follows: Joe and Sasha combined their awards to purchase boxing equipment, power ropes and resistance workout tubes; and Max used his to buy suspension trainers, trigger point massage balls and skipping ropes. Euan was able to give a boost to our water polo players by buying both mini polo and competition / training balls, as well as a specialist bag to store them in.

All the winners were nominated by Haringey Aquatic members and we look forward to receiving plenty of nominations next year.

Haringey Aquatics divers and swimmers have had busy and successful weekend of competitions with three meets on Saturday and another two on Sunday.

Saturday saw a group of divers set off to the Middlesex County meet, although for many it was there first competition they came away with 15 medals (4 golds/8 silvers/ 3 bronze) which is a fantastic achievement.

One team of swimmers competed in the Round One of the First Division of the Arena League at Braintree. Eight teams competed and Haringey Aquatics  came a close third to Potter Bar who took second, with Harlow taking first place. Great team effort, impressive individual swims and lots of PBs made for an exciting evening.  Round 2 will be held on Saturday 14 November 2015 (venue TBC) and Round 3 on 14 December (venue TBC).

Another team of Haringey Aquatics swimmers, took part on the North London Graded Gala at Hillingdon and came second – another superb team effort, great individual performances  and overall result.

Sunday found swimmers competing at the Middlesex Development Meet and the Barnet Copthall 200m Meet and there were more medals and PBs  (full results will be posted on the Results page when available).

Well done to all our Haringey Aquatics divers and swimmers!
