There is an article in the Ham & High  celebrating the successes of Haringey Aquatics swimmers at London Regional Championships including the Gold medal for the 14/16 year boys medley relay. The relay team – Shakil Giordani (backstroke), Max Hanson (breaststroke), Gareth Davies (fly) and Max Green (freestyle) are pictured above.

GALA ENTRY: BHSC Summer Open Meet 14-15 July 2018

Deadline for entries is 4th June at 5pm (accept for 800/1500 – see below)

IMPORTANT: To enter the 800/1500 (these will be swum in mixed heats to allow standard and reverse gender entries) please email Marianna on ha.members@gmail.com by Friday 25th May 8.00pm as there are very limited spaces available and they will be allocated on first come first served basis.

Development Squad Trial: Friday 27th April 2018

Development Squad trials will take place at both pools (Park Road and Tottenham) from 6-7pm on Friday 27th April

Trialists should be on poolside ready to get in the water at 6pm. Swimmers must wear a swimming costume and hat, goggles may be worn.
They will need to show that they are able to perform all 4 strokes competently. For information about to what expect at a trial click here Pre-requirements criteria for Development Squad Trials 2016
Trialists will be required to swim for an hour and our Coach will determine whether they are ready for our sessions.

If your child has passed Stage 7 and have been advised that they are ready to move on, book them onto one of our trials by contacting either Sharon or Marianna at swimming@haringeyaquatics.org.uk

Opportunity to qualify as a official: Judge 1 course at Southbury Rd

Calling all Haringey Aquatics parents and carers
There is an opportunity to undertake the Judge 1 course to become a Qualified Official.  All judges are volunteers and no competition or gala can run without them, so they are very important for every club.
The next course will be a local and high;y accessible venue – Southbury Road Leisure Centre. It will be led by our own Haringey Aquatics Club’s President and long time member,Pam Crofts.
Pam has trained countless Officials and it is always a great pleasure to learn from  her knowledge and her passion for all things related to swimming.
Do not miss out on this opportunity. Places are limited. Please note you must attend all three workshops

Haringey Aquatics in the news

We have recently had two articles in the Ham and High celebrating the achievements of Haringey swimmers:

Swimmer Shakil Giordani has been selected as part of the Middlesex County team competing in the FFN Golden Lanes Tour in Sarcelles France. Read more here Sahkil picked for the County team

Another article Success for HA swimmers at the 2018 County Championships celebrates the achievements of our swimmers at the recent County championships which included an impressive medal and trophy haul and lots of PBs.

 

 

Haringey Aquatics swimmer picked for County team

One of our swimmers Shakil Giordani has been selected to swim with the Middlesex County team in Sarcelles, France at the FFN Golden Lanes Tour on 9th -11th March 2018.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Shakil and yet another positive step for Haringey Aquatics.

Sharon Austin, our Head of Teaching has been selected as the Team Manager for this event.

We wish the team all the best for the tour.
